My favorite WordPress shopping cart is Cart66 Pro, though I also really like WooThemes’ totally free e-commerce plugin WooCommerce as well. I’m also very interested in Tribulant Software’s WordPress Shopping Cart Plugin, especially since it comes in a hundred-dollar package with a newsletter and banner rotation functionality, and is currently discounted some thirty to forty percent for the holidays!
Unfortunately, I don’t run too many business sites to use these things; actually, I only really run one, and that’s not even a shop which sells physical goods, either. Still, who knows, one day I may really just get into carrying a real inventory! Until then, I just keep up with the latest developments.
Not sure why it’s all so interesting to me, actually. I can only think of those folks who, back when Microsoft Windows 95 first debuted, rushed out to get one despite not even owning a computer — victims to Redmond’s multi-billion dollar marketing blitz worldwide.
